I’d like to start buying hops in bulk. How do you guys store your hops? What equipment do you use? Is a freezer the best place for them?
So it’s been a little over a week since I brewed the Surly Furious kit. It’s been bubbling away all week. Yesterday when I checked it out, it seemed like the bubbling has come to a halt. This brings me to the question, when do you guys transfer to the secondary? I’ve been reading a couple of forums and I get conflicting answers. Some people follow a set period. I’ve heard one guy no matter what he waits 3 weeks then transfers, another guy says when it’s sitting at the same gravity reading for 3 days it’s safe to transfer, another one says
